The designated host process with exclusive access to a USB-connected MeshCore Companion serial interface.

Crux usage

#

Atlas operates one companion connection and distributes structured events to the Webviewer, automation and supervision services, avoiding concurrent programs competing for the same serial port.

Context

#

It is a host-side concurrency and lifecycle design choice, not a guarantee that the RF network is reachable.
