Guardian
Definition
#An Atlas supervision layer that compares independent observations of a service, interface and publishing path before reporting their operational state.
Crux usage
#Guardian supervises the Atlas Bridge host process, USB serial session, companion traffic, event evidence and data freshness. Observation, diagnosis and approved recovery actions are distinct stages.
Context
#An active companion service is one observation; it does not by itself establish end-to-end message delivery or public-page freshness. The observe-only Guardian v2 unit was inactive in the 15 October 2026 service inventory.
