Commercial arrangements do not determine Crux findings, validation outcomes, or editorial conclusions.
Relationships / Public register
Transparent by structure.
Crux separates commercial referrals, suppliers, validated hardware, open-source participation, and strategic partnerships so that each relationship means something precise.
01 / Classification
Not every relationship is equivalent.
An organisation may appear in more than one class only when each relationship is independently true and disclosed.
Affiliate programmes
Commercial referral relationships through which Crux may receive commission from qualifying purchases.
Open classification → 02 / ClassificationTechnical suppliers
Companies from whom Crux sources components, specialist services, or local technical support.
Open classification → 03 / ClassificationValidated platforms and hardware
Equipment physically tested, integrated, or deployed within a defined Crux project or validation programme.
Open classification → 04 / ClassificationOpen-source ecosystems
Projects and communities to which Crux contributes testing, documentation, deployment evidence, or improvements.
Open classification → 05 / ClassificationStrategic partners
Genuinely reciprocal, agreed relationships with defined shared responsibilities or outcomes.
Open classification →02 / Independence statement
Commercial relationships do not purchase technical conclusions.
Crux evaluates products and platforms against its own engineering, deployment, safety, serviceability, and evidence requirements. Participation in an affiliate programme does not guarantee coverage, validation, favourable findings, or continued recommendation.
03 / Disclosure rules
What readers can expect.
The register is intended to make recommendations more credible, not to turn the site into an undifferentiated affiliate catalogue.
A supplier relationship does not imply that every product from that company is endorsed.
Commission-bearing links are identified at the point of use; unmarked links are standard non-commission links.
Products supplied, loaned, or discounted for evaluation are disclosed alongside the relevant report.
Strategic partner language is reserved for agreed, reciprocal working relationships.
04 / Brand assets
Official marks remain official.
Crux uses official company logos without redrawing or recolouring them to imitate the Crux identity. Where an approved light, dark, or monochrome variant exists, that official version may be used. Otherwise, the original mark is placed within a neutral high-contrast container. Text identifiers remain acceptable until approved assets are collected.
